The daily cockpit

Everything that needs you today, in one view.

Orydin Planner interface showing day plan, personal and work events, add to day, and the month calendar

  2. Add to day : quick entry with start and end time
  3. Calendar : month view, jump to any day
  4. Recent days : completion streak at a glance

Your life is scattered across too many places.

The scattered version

Tasks in one app. Notes in another. Documents in folders. Subscriptions remembered too late. Health records buried somewhere. Personal finance tracked separately. Important reminders living wherever you happened to write them down.

The Orydin version

Orydin gives those pieces one local place to land: what needs attention today, what you are building, what you need to remember, and the records you want to keep close.

Not another cloud workspace. A private command centre on your computer.

Seven areas

One private system for the practical layers of life.

Orydin is organised around real daily areas, not just generic tasks.

Focus

Focus Cockpit, universal capture, now and next, day plan, weekly sprint, radar and horizon.

Plan

Planner, alerts, habits and routines.

Tasks

Tasks, projects, to-do lists and archive.

Life

Home, people, pets, birthdays and car records.

Health

Health records, meals and exercise.

Library

Notes, documents, journal, gratitude, places and sports.

Finance

Transactions, yearly view, shared expenses and subscriptions.

FAQ

Common questions about Orydin.

Clear answers about how Orydin works.

  • No. Orydin does not require a login or cloud account to use the app.

  • No. Orydin is a one-time purchase product, not a subscription.

  • Orydin stores your app data locally on your computer. There is no cloud account, no remote database, and no automatic upload. You can also create manual full backups and restore them when needed.

  • No. Orydin is built as local-first desktop software. Data stays on your computer unless you choose to export or back it up yourself.

  • Orydin is Windows-first. Mac is coming later, but is not available yet.

  • Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.

  • Updates are manual. When a new version is released, you download it from your Payhip download page and install it over the previous version. Your data stays in place. There is no auto-update and nothing phones home.

  • The installer is digitally signed (Certum), but new certificates take time to build reputation with Windows SmartScreen. If you see a warning, click "More info" then "Run anyway". You can verify the installer using the SHA-256 checksum published in the release notes.

  • Yes. Create a full backup in Orydin, move the backup file, and restore it on the new computer.

  • This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-respecting analytics service, to understand basic traffic, referral sources and performance. The Orydin app itself has no telemetry of any kind.

  • No. Orydin can help you organise practical records and reminders, but it is not certified medical, legal, financial, or professional advice software.

  • Purchase, payment, support, or email data may be handled separately by the platforms used for sales and support.

  • Support is by email. This is a solo project, so replies usually take up to 2 business days.

  • Yes. Orydin includes two built-in visual themes: Dark Command Centre and Warm Clarity. You can switch between them inside Settings.

  • Yes. Orydin is available in English, Portuguese (Portugal), Polish, and Spanish. Choose your language in Settings.

  • A To-do List is digital paper: a lightweight checklist inside Tasks for quick, simple lists. A Task is structured work, with more structure and tracking. To-do Lists are not a second task-management system.

  • Screen Lock is an optional privacy feature that puts a numeric PIN on the visible app when you step away. It is off by default, and it is not encryption: it does not change how your data is stored. Screen Lock settings are device-local and are not included in Full Backup/Restore. If you forget your PIN, Screen Lock can be reset or disabled on that device without deleting your Orydin data.

A calmer local system for the things that need your attention, memory, and care.
