Overview

These terms govern your use of Orydin V1.0.0, a local-first Windows desktop application published by A Human Odyssey. By downloading, installing, or using Orydin, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.

Licence

A Human Odyssey grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use Orydin V1.0.0 on your own computer for personal or professional personal-organisation use. This licence does not allow you to redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share access to the software with others.

The licence is granted per individual purchaser for use on their own device or devices. It does not cover installation on behalf of others, network deployment, or team distribution.

One-time purchase model

Orydin V1.0.0 is offered as a one-time purchase. The one-time purchase covers Orydin V1.0.0 and updates within the V1 series, unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase. Future major versions may be offered separately. No subscription is required.

Orydin V1.0.0 is currently priced at €29.97, as shown on the Orydin sales page and at checkout on Payhip. Pricing may change for future purchases. No specific price is guaranteed in these terms.

Platform and availability

Orydin V1.0.0 is available for Windows. Mac support is coming later but is not currently available, and no specific release date is promised.

Orydin is desktop software. It does not include a mobile app, a web app, or a cloud-hosted version.

Local data and backups

Orydin stores your app data locally on your computer. You are responsible for creating and maintaining your own backups before installing any Orydin update or performing any other operation that could affect your data files.

A Human Odyssey is not responsible for data loss resulting from failed updates, hardware failure, file system issues, or mismanaged backups.

Updates

Orydin may receive updates that change, add, or remove features. We do not guarantee that any specific feature will remain unchanged in future updates within the V1 series.

You remain responsible for backing up your data before applying any update. Updates are not guaranteed to be delivered on any specific schedule.

User responsibility

You are responsible for:

Securing your device and Windows account.
Downloading Orydin only from the official source confirmed at the time of purchase.
Keeping your backup files in a safe, accessible location.
Understanding that Orydin data is stored as local files and must be protected accordingly.
Maintaining your own operating system updates and device security.

No professional advice

Orydin is a personal organisation tool. Nothing in Orydin constitutes medical, legal, financial, accounting, tax, psychological, emergency, or safety advice. Do not use Orydin as a substitute for professional advice in any of these areas.

No cloud service

Orydin is local desktop software, not a cloud service or hosted product. There is no cloud account, no remote storage, and no backend. The availability of the software depends on your own device, not on any server we operate.

Support

Support is provided on a best-effort basis through the contact email below. Support is not guaranteed to a specific response time or resolution outcome. Orydin does not include in-app support systems or automated support tools.

Acceptable use

You may not:

Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share access to Orydin without written permission from A Human Odyssey.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
Use Orydin for unlawful purposes.
Represent Orydin as your own product or remove any copyright or attribution notices.

Warranty disclaimer

Orydin V1.0.0 is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use Orydin at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, A Human Odyssey is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Orydin. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or device damage.

Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid for the software.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when Orydin changes in ways that affect the licence or usage conditions. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of Orydin after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
